Tarjeta Naranja S.A., established in 1985, is Argentina’s leading credit-card company which develops and operates credit, debit, purchase and similar card systems. It also offers loans and insurance products. With over 4 million customers, it is the main credit card issuer nationally and offers products and services primarily to individuals through over 200 branches and commercial offices. Since 2011, it has been present in Peru through a partnership with Banco de Credito del Peru (BCP) and today has 11 branches in Lima and about 100,000 active cards. The company also does business in Dominican Republic through partnership with Grupo León. Tarjeta Naranja S.A. is controlled by Tarjetas Regionales S.A. (99%) and Tarjetas Cuyanas S.A. (1%), subsidiaries of Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires.
