The Bank of Yokohama, Ltd is one of the largest regional banks in Japan. It provides a wide range of banking services to retail and corporate customers including current and savings accounts, personal and business loans, credit cards, mortgages, retirement and pension plans, investments, trust and securities services, leasing, online banking, insurance and other services. BoY offers life insurance with 49 different products which include single premium and level premium annuity insurance, whole life insurance as well as protection type of life insurance. With about 4,700 employees, it operates a network of about 200 branches, 8 sub-branches and 413 ATMs (June 2017) primarily in Kanagawa Prefecture and southwestern Tokyo. It also has representative offices in New York, London, Hong Kong and Bangkok and branch in Shanghai. Bank of Yokohama was established in 1920 and is based in Yokohama City. In 2016, Bank of Yokohama and Higashi-Nippon Bank established a new holding company Concordia Financial Group.
