Addiko Bank AG (formerly Hypo Group Alpe Adria AG), headquartered in Vienna, is financial group with a banking network in Southeast Europe (SEE). It operates in Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. The company focuses on retail customers, small and medium-sized enterprises and regional corporates. It offers deposit and lending products, leasing services, foreign exchange, payment transactions, investment banking, online banking and other services. The Bank employs approximately 3,150 people and serves 1.1 million customers through a network of about 200 branches. The company was formerly known as Hypo Group Alpe Adria AG (HGAA) and changed its name to Addiko Bank in July 2016. AI Lake (Luxembourg) Sarl is the only shareholder of Addiko Bank AG. AI Lake is owned by Advent International Corporation, an U.S. private equity firm and EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development). In June 2017, Addiko Bank launched Tagesgeld, an online direct deposit service in Austria with a 0.90% interest rate.
