Komerční banka, a.s. (KB) is one of the leading banking institutions in the Czech Republic. KB is a universal bank providing retail, corporate, and investment banking services. It offers various deposit products, consumer and business loans, mortgages, credit and debit cards, mobile and online banking, asset management, pension funds, securities services, factoring as well as insurance products including car insurance, property insurance, travel insurance and life insurance. It serves more than 1.65 million clients through a network of about 400 branches and over 770 ATMs across the country. The average number of employees within KB Group reached 7,550 in 2017. KB is the only Czech bank whose shares are publicly traded. Komercni banka operates as a subsidiary of Societe Generale Group.
