Nykredit A/S

Nykredit A/S (or Nykredit Group) is the largest lender in Denmark with a market share of over 30%. It is also one of Europe's largest bond issuers. The company provides a wide range of products and services including retail and wholesale banking, mortgages, insurance and pension products, debt management, leasing and asset and wealth management. Nykredit's business is conducted through Nykredit Realkredit which operates through its subsidiaries Nykredit Bank, Totalkredit, Nykredit Mægler and Nykredit Ejendomme. Forenet Kredit is the main shareholder of Nykredit A/S. As of June 30, 2017, Nykredit Group had total assets of DKK 1.380 trillion (US$212 billion), mortgage loans of DKK 1.141 trillion and assets under administration of DKK 799 billion. The company was established in 1851 and has around 3,600 employees.
