Groupe Caisse d'Epargne is a French cooperative banking network established in 1818. It serves over 20 million customers and includes 16 Caisses d’Epargne regional banks and approximately 4,200 branches across the country. The company provides a wide range of financial products and services for retail and corporate customers including deposit accounts, loans, credit and debit cards, private banking, life and non-life insurance and other services. In 2009, Caisse d'Epargne Group merged with Banques Populaires Group and retained separate retail banking brand. The new entity was named BPCE Group.
