Permanent TSB Group Holdings plc (formerly Irish Life & Permanent Group Holdings plc) is a retail and small and medium-sized enterprise bank. The company has two operating segments: Core Bank and Non-Core Bank Structure. The Core Bank focuses on retail business with a loan portfolio of over EUR 21 billion. Permanent TSB offers current and deposit accounts, mortgages, consumer and car loans, business loans, credit cards, investments, pensions, insurance products and other services to 1.1 million customers. The Group operates through about 80 branches nationwide and employs approximately 2,400 people. The company was formerly known as Irish Life & Permanent Group and changed its name following the sale of Life and Pensions divisions in 2012. As of December 31, 2016, Permanent TSB Group Holdings plc had total assets of EUR 23.6 billion.
