ABLV Bank, AS is the largest bank in Latvia with local capital and the second largest by assets. It was formerly known as Aizkraukles Banka and changed its name to ABLV Bank in 2011. The Bank’s majority shareholders – Olegs Fil, Ernest Bernis and Nika Berne – hold 86.25% of the bank’s share capital. The Bank has representative offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg (Russia); Baku (Azerbaijan), Kiev and Odessa (Ukraine); Minsk (Belarus); Almaty (Kazakhstan), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Hong Kong, structural unit in Cyprus and subsidiary bank in Luxembourg, ABLV Bank Luxembourg. In 2013, ABLV Bank established a new company – AmberStone Group, AS. ABLV Group includes ABLV Bank AS, ABLV Capital Markets (brokerage joint stock company), ABLV Asset Management (investment management joint stock company), Pillar Holding Company, ABLV Consulting Services, ABLV Corporate Services, New Hanza City and other companies. As of June 30, 2015, the Bank had total assets of EUR 4.548 billion, loans of EUR 1.084 billion and deposits of EUR 3.646 billion. The company was established in 1993 and is headquartered in Riga, Latvia.
