De Volksbank N.V. (formerly SNS Bank N.V.) is a financial services provider with a focus on the Dutch retail market including private individuals, self-employed persons and small and medium-sized enterprises. With over 3,300 employees and 3 million customers, it is the sixth largest bank in the Netherlands by total assets. It provides a full range of banking products and services including current accounts, savings, mortgages, insurance, loans, investments, internet banking and more. In 2013, the Bank was nationalized by the Dutch State. In 2017, SNS Bank N.V. and its subsidiaries merged into de Volksbank, a single bank which continues to operate under the following brands: SNS, ASN, RegioBank and BLG Wonen.
