RegioBank N.V. is regional bank with consultants throughout the Netherlands. It is one of the five brands of SNS Bank N.V., the fourth largest bank of the Netherlands. RegioBank provides a wide range of banking products and services for personal and business customers including current and savings accounts, loans, debit and credit cards, mortgages, investments, online banking and more. All RegioBank’s 530 independent financial advisors have roots in their own region. The advisors can offer clients a broad array of RegioBank financial services. In addition, they are allowed to sell products from other providers. RegioBank was established in 1927 as the Nederlandse Middenstands Spaarbank (NMS). NMS became part of ING Group through the merger between NMB-Postbank and Nationale-Nederlanden in 1991 and was rebranded to RegioBank in 1996. In December 2006, ING Group sold Regio Bank to SNS Reaal for EUR 50.5 million. In 2015, the Bank expanded its financial services in smaller villages and communities. RegioBank’s customer base totaled more than 560,000 customers in 2017.
