Bank zweiplus was founded on 1 July 2008 and is a joint enterprise between Bank J. Safra Sarasin AG (57.5 % stake) and Falcon Private Bank Ltd (42.5 % stake). Cash Zweiplus AG is a joint venture of Bank Zweiplus and Ringier AG.
