Aldermore Bank

Aldermore Bank plc is a UK savings bank providing financial services primarily to small and medium-sized enterprises as well as homeowners, landlords and individuals. In 2017 it had about 900 employees and 230,000 customers, and lending to customers stood at £8.4 billion at the end of September 2017. Aldermore Bank operates as a subsidiary of Aldermore Group PLC, which is part of the South African financial services group FirstRand. Aldermore Group PLC’s shares were listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange from March 2015 until FirstRand acquired the group through a scheme of arrangement in March 2018, after which the group ceased to be publicly traded.
